Muhammad Asif Khan

Dr. Muhammad Asif Khan is a seasoned educator having worked in Europe, Middle East and South Asia. Currently working as Assistant Professor of Marketing at the College of Business, in Umm Al-Qura University (KSA). He has previously worked at UCP Business School (Lahore) as Assistant Professor and Graduate Program Director (Marketing) and has also been a Visiting Professor at IBA (Sukkur) and Kedge Business School (France). He has been consulting several organizations in the Organic Food, Marketing Communications, Construction, and Logistics and Transportation sectors.

Dr. Khan completed his MS and PhD in Marketing from IAE Aix-Marseille University (France) where he explored Determinants of Pre-Purchase Brand Avoidance in a Global Context. He also holds an MBA (Marketing) and MSc in Statistics from Punjab University (Pakistan). His research interests are consumer behavior, branding, consumer brand relationship, cross-cultural issues in research and mixed methods research. His work has been published in international journals/conferences. He is a member of research communities (International Centre for Anti-consumption Research, American Marketing Association, International Institute of Marketing Professionals) and Academic Reviewer of Journals (Business and Management Studies, International Journal of Social Science Studies, and Lahore Journal of Business).
